Hi all i hope you are well , its been one hectic few weeks ive not been able to write a post for a while this week i have a great. The easter holiday begun and were already bored. The cold wet weather has been keeping us in as the children have been stuck in with boring onld mum and dad. Weve been crafting , playing and we had a carnival theme easter egg hunt where we made out own games up and had the most fun weve had in ages. After the first few days we got a bit lets be real no parent can be fun 24/7 the chores clocks changing and that never ending to do list. we wont even mention the need for alont time because as parents thats non exsestant until your kids turn 18 but thats a whole other subject ive got a great post (here) on the subject. Ive found a really great website that has a wide selection of games that are not only free to play with no ads or in app purchases but they are educational too. The children have been having lots of fun and ive been able to enjoy a coffee of two in peace with the reassurence that the screentime will be benefical and fun for them too.
The Powerpuff Girls Panic In Townsville
Emilys (9) Has really been enjoying The powerpuff girls panic in townsville. Ive watched emily navigate through the levels with determination and has since been watching the old eplisodes on cartoon network. Emily really liked how easy the game was to navigated meaning she didnt need any help it really helped boost her compute confidence and shes asked several times to have some screentime since , shes hands down winner in this house her high score hasnt been matched yet. I might practice when shes in bed the cometitivness in this house is rife.
Harrisons (6) holds the crown for this game with a swift 5 minute challange we all competed to see who could earn the most and he was a glorious winner. I was really please with his efforts and how quickly he was able to get the hang of the game he also liked the money games which have really really enhances his maths skills and ability to pay attention. When children can apply their skill and gain knowlage through games i think it helps them absorb the information better obviouly there should always been limit to screentime as we all know theres a limit i think thes sorts if games are very benefical. The fact that the site itslef is free to use too is an even bigger bonus.
My personal favourite is reas estate tycoon i like being able to test my reaction speeds with this game almost like a brain training exersize if you know me you know how ive always enjoyed this type , i recall playing lemonade tycoon on my original pc back in the 90s the one felt very nostelgic to that and im obviously the best player haha. I enjoed the differnent games modes too ive led a properous real estate empire for weeks now beating the whole family beause im a winner.
