Product testing

Hi all i hope your well as you know i love to product testing.I have had some amazing products I’ve been able to review its a fun little hobby which is free mainly depending on the site you use a few ask for deposits for the higher value item. All these companies ask for in return is a review and or a social media post not bad eh? below are sites I use 😀 will add more as I use and get used to sites. click headers to access sites and sign up if you want too.

Home tester club

Home tester club is brilliant if you want to try out new household products quite a mixed batch of items I’ve had things like perfume full size , toys , an actifry  , toothpaste and face wash very  useful items brilliant way to try before you buy you usually get an email as soon as new items are tester ready too so you don’t miss out.  Perhaps checking once a week just in case x

First beauty

attractive beautiful beautiful girl beauty

I think this one is my fave first beauty is absolutely brilliant not only do you get to test beauty related products but you earn points too and when you have so many you can exchange for gift vouchers which mind blows my mind double win.  I have had 4 tests since joining last year and be able to swap for the point for gift cards. I think I’ve been able to exchange the points every 2 tested items which are brilliant maybe another one you can save up kinda like boots point. You will receive an email when new items are available.

 Savvy circle

Quite good you can also review to win lots of products. it can be diifficult to get the biggys but weve done alright usually toothepaste and washing items im able to get

Other testing sites I use

  1.  The insiders’ mix of items sometimes there’s a deposit involved
  2.  Top pasta books –  review books and enter giveaways that you review for more books.
  3.  vox box– very popular in America works best on the App ive recently been invited to a bondi sands test x
  4.  Philips product tester – good but it can be hard to find a test as you have to login and check daily.

Other info

Disclaimer  — There are many testing sites out there watch out for spammy ones as they are about and don’t ever put your bank details in, also if something looks too good to be true please don’t sign up just in case.

Thank you for reading hope you get some tests please remember you won’t always get something but is fun when you do. nothing to lose when its free ❤

Taking our families to popular attractions can cost a bomb which a fair few of us can’t afford to do without having to sacrifice necessities.  I have been on a personal quest to find things to do with the children without having to splash the cash. Here a few ideas which are just as fun and with a little preparation, some imagination and in this current heat perspiration.  There are many adventures to be had that don’t break the bank and you can still create the fun memories with your family.

Local Walks

adult adventure baby child

As simple as it may sound going for a nice walk is brilliant not only are you getting out the house your lightly exercising too.  It’s also a great way to get the kids off the technology and find new places to explore.

The thing to do 😀

  • Write them a list of item to find on your walk and let them keep them occupied.
  • a picnic /snack if you wanted too.
  • Blackberry picking. give them a wash when you get home yummy treat to eat or if you’re really fancy make into jam tarts mmmm.
  • If you take paper and crayon you can do tree rubbing.
  • You could even get the collect free art materials for a rainy day.
  • feed the birds stale bread waste want not.

The library

adorable blur bookcase books

Now this one is great if you just need some quiet time and you can borrow some books to read which is free as long as you return on time.  There’s usually a family area too so you can read the kiddies a book and sometimes there are groups on for the kids too. The library is also a great place to find out about local events.

Community farms

Some areas have community farms really lovely places to go with lots of friendly faces. a great place to take a picnic on a dry day too. Sometimes there are fun days make sure to check their Facebook page or notice board when you visit.

to do 😀

  • You could make a checklist for the kids to document what you have all seen maybe some pictures to for the memory book.
  • At some farms, you can feed the animals with animal feed usually around 50p (if you can spare it).

Free events

flat lay photography of calendar

This one takes probably the most effort as you, ll have to look for and be open to trying new things.

where to look

  • Local children centres usually have a list of playgroups and local events they know all.
  • Local magazines I get a random one through my door called on the doorstep which has lots of local info.
  • Community or youth centres often run free events and classes.
  • Facebook search the event section you never know what treats you’ll find.
  • Google is also a great tool literally just write something like ‘free events near me with your postcode’.

Thanks for reading ❤ hope I’ve helped me xx

I’ll be adding budget packed ideas soon to make adventure days even easier  😀 I’ll be getting creative as my dear daughter will be going to full-time school in September and I need to make them nutritious and fun. x

A beginners guide to product testing!

hiya me again with a beginners guide to product testing.

I’ve really liked testing and trying new products, not only is it fun but it can help you save money and find new favourites.  sometimes it’s easy to find the product test and other times there aren’t any around its not as easy as when I started just a few years ago but it doesn’t hurt to apply you never known that you might get and after all, it is free.

Starting out

1, Create a new email just for your product tests unless like me your also a comper, survey filler outer and all-out freebie hunter you’ll already have on hehe.

2. Find trusted sites and please don’t ever fill in your bank details or

Trusted Sites

I have personally used all these sites and have tested with them some are quite popular so can take a while to get a test but when you do its lovely. There are many more but these have no waiting list.

  • Home tester club –  They have a lot of variety and regularly update the site with tests there also a weekly survey draw.   most recently they’ve had a lot of pans, toys and playdoh.

  • First beauty – Simply fill in your profile and wait they will send you relevant tests right to your inbox. upon completing the feedback you collect points which can be exchanged for more freebies.

  • The insider another one with a vast array of items from baby cream to tech. Some items you do have to pay a deposit and send back but some are free. I’ve been lucky enough to receive the level cooking companion a while ago and a lot of nappy rash cream which was handy with the children.

There is a lot out there and enough for almost everyone you may not get them all but when you do get selected its great fun and you can try new products without wasting money.

Please be cautious when finding new freebie sites, I know I mention this further up but it is possibly the most important part of product testing so many scam sites around when I started I signed up to them all not knowing any better but now I do and I hate for anyone to fall victim for any fake site.

For more trusted product testing site click here or here. I’ve tried a fair few and have done really well over the years good luck. Have you ever tested a product what’s the best item you’ve received id love to know comment below and subscribe for a weekly dose of mum tips and tricks?

Why and how i enter and win competitions and how you can too !

Hiya all as most of you know im a very enthusiastic COMPER I think it’s literally the best hobby in the world so rewarding and you get the ULTIMATE FREEBIES.  I started comping a couple of years ago just after Christmas in February I recall we were already skint and my daughters birthday was looming too, a very stressful time I must admit. It started as getting free samples online they usually come in the post a short while after you sign up , then I stumbled across an article I think on the daily mirror site about a lady called di who enters and win thousands of pounds worth of prizes including a car and lots of holidays to amazing places she has a brilliant comping blog and lots of unboxings on youtube . I literally thought to myself wowzers I wonder if I could win too and after a while, I did my first prize was a ten-pound b&q voucher and a tape measure from can on Facebook proved to me can win. It was like winning on a scratchcard that feeling you get and now I’m hooked. I have been so lucky able to share my prizes with my family and friends.

Some of the prizes we won last year 😀 I am very fortunate. One year I managed to win  all the presents which were crazy and my son has been the cheapest baby I’m telling you I’ve been so lucky won his pram, his cot bedding, clothes, breastfeeding pillow, bottles, toiletries  and I’ve won so many nappies the boy has grown out of them even tho I had given away 12 bags some to food bank some to friends even had some left I’ve been so lucky . The possibilities are endless I’ve seen people post about so many once in a lifetime prizes holiday’s to watch the world cup, cruise’s lots of Disney Florida trip us next hopefully, you name it they’ve probably won it there’s even a new trend of  winning a house competitions you buy raffle tickets to win …. its amazing .

Mind-blowing isn’t it with just an internet connection, device phone/tablet or computer some spare time you can win amazing things on the internet that are both useful and can be life-changing. I also find it a great way to channel my anxiety occupies the mind. It’s quite exciting you never know when you’re gonna win or what it will be. If you’d like to give it a go I’ve listed how and where I enter below everyone has their own style of comping this is just what I do. Would people be interested in monthly comping updates to let me know ill add a new comping section if I can figure it out hehe ❤

How I enter a competition

Competition database

Very easy to use just sign up and you’re on your way to winning wooo. This website is great as it lists everything from types of comps as well as being able to search for something you want. It’s a great site as all the comps are listed in one place and if you press enter here takes you directly there and tells you what to do to enter, then go back marked as entered then onto the next one Hehe. I tend to enter the ending today ones as I don’t like waiting too long to win haha. I mostly do web entry and Instagram when the kids are in bed and I’ve got the soaps on a split screen with the comps aha multitasking at its best. A separate email account for comping is a good idea but don’t put the wording comper/competition in the email address I don’t think it matters but it may hinder your chances of winning.

Some purchase comps

I like the ones where you can reuse the same codes or barcodes and enter daily with it.

Others you enter you may need to keep the receipt and can only enter once always read the terms and conditions which are on the packaging but if your still not sure check the website.

Social media

My preference is Instagram as its quick and easy in my opinion you. Facebook is ok but them pesky sods like to unlike pages and block you from posting if you share too many I’ve been banned a few times. Twitter is nice and easy as well usually as easy as a follow like and retweet I like to add a picture and relevant comment where I can I feel it helps, there’s literally an abundance of competitions to enter.

Comping friends

I am also very lucky to have some AMAZING comping friend which I have met online who tag me in so much I am very grateful I love hearing about all your wins and talking competitions with you all and as for your unboxing videos I love them the 😀 best way to stay motivated. Thank you to you all.

Lastly before I write a you all a long novel just me gushing about competition wins and my comping friends I will say don’t try to enter them all I honestly think that impossible there are just too many you’ll end up COMPIE (comping zombie), never give your bank details out and only enter to win the thing you want or need then you’ll be able to use your comping time more efficiently (learnt that the hard way lol). Just have fun and enjoy it is free after all anything you win is a bonus. 2018 has been my best comping year yet just gets better and better I’m beyond grateful.

Good Luck and happy comping if you win anything please post below id love to know if I actually help people, also if you’re a camper how did you start comping I’m nosey hehe I may in the future do a monthly win post if people would like me too. thanks for reading and happy comping  ❤

The Journey Begins

Hi, lovelies it’s very nice to meet you. I’m Jade mum of two from Bristol.  I am always hoping for a bargain as money is tight as it is for many of us. Sadly it’s not uncommon even in 2018 for families are struggling we have to make do even with constant price rises. Stress is at all time high many people relying on food banks people with and without jobs are suffering. I hate IT!

I’m no expert in any way just one mum making memories on a very small income. I’d love to share money-saving tips and other fun bits with you might be daft but we all need that little bit fun to keep us from being sat worrying about stuff out of our control (i should practice what I preach). Anything from crafts, cheap/free days out, to bargain fashion and beauty ideas may be a few fails along the way just little things that won’t break the bank and will save our sanity.

38282069_2099088523672222_635810891027185664_n.jpglocal walks are good and don’t cost a penny. (my own photo)

With a little effort, there’s lots of fun to be had and we can all feel less sad. As the saying goes the best things in life are free  (or cheap ), wanna find out with me  😀

Jade xoxo
